2014 Big Sandy Get Bigger

Chris wrote in to tell us:

Bigger Sandy -- we are adding 15 more miles of single track to the Big Sandy XC pro/expert race. The NEW Pro, Singlespeed and Expert races are now 38 miles of singletrack and 6,000 feet of climbing.

2014 Lake Sonoma Series

Matt emailed in to give us the scoop on this year’s Lake Sonoma Series:

Do you like your singletrack more twisted than Dee Snider?  Come to where the flavor is…The 2014 Lake Sonoma XC Race Series .  Dates are set for March 22, May 24, and June 14.  The series benefits the NorCal High School Cycling League.  The vibe is low-key and relaxed.   We had tons of fun last year, nothing but smiling faces.  $30 gets you the race, lunch, gear raffle, beer (generously provided by Lagunitas Brewing), and all the endorphins you can secrete.   For more info, check us out on Facebook.

SoNoMas skipping 2014

It's official:

Nope, you didn’t read that wrong: SoNoMas is taking a year off. There was a lot that didn’t make sense about this one this time around, including rolling up against a busy MTB race calendar before the heat really rises in July.

However, the rest of the schedule is up on calendar:

• 05/02/14: Boggs Enduro
• 06/28/14: Skyline Park XC MTB Race
• 08/16/14: Annadel XC

There will also be the weekly Howarth Park Dirt Crits.

2014 CCCX Cross Country Schedule Announced

The 2014 Central Coast XC schedule has been announced:
