Rockhopper Pre-ride

Looking to get a jump on the reborn Rockhopper course ?

justin english (our local mtb homie) will be heading a weekly course pre ride on Wednesday may 4th to share the taste of some technical, steep, twisty turn, hilly,  course that will "turn on" your mtb desire. 6:10 pm roll out from ray's bike shop (400 main st, vacaville 95688).

if ya wanna get a sense of the course, plan your strategy and get some lung burning fun under your belt...come join us in vacaville....

also only two weeks away until our may 7th cross country event, the rockhopper classic, registration is just burning to get your nameon it....we got raffle, we got lunch and we got game!

For those of you making your weekend plans, here is quick rundown of this weekend's MTB racing schedule for NorCal:

1. Lake Sonoma Series #2 (04/23/11) [XC]

Lake Sonoma #2 Moved Up To 4/23/11

According to the powers that be Carlos:

There is a small list of really awesome events that we try to avoid conflicting with.  The two that come to mind happen to be the two that I try and race every year–The Napa Valley Dirt Classic and the Shasta Lemurian.  Pure awesomeness. Oh yeah, that pretty rad Grasshopper Adventure Series is also going on 4/30 for those of you roadies sticking in town.

SO… The Lake Sonoma Series #2 is being moved 1 week EARLIER to April 23rd to avoid being in conflict with the Shasta Lemurian which we previously thought was on the 23rd but is actually on the 30th.  Switcheroo!

Lake Sonoma is now next Saturday.  Make a note of it, and be stoked your racing calendar is so full of options!

Coolest 8/24 and Boggs 8/24 Switch Dates

The Coolest 24 and the Boggs 8 & 24 have change race dates due to the high amount of sierra snow this year.

The Boggs 8 & 24 is now on June 18-19th, 2011 and the Coolest 8 & 24 race against cancer is now July 16th-17th, 2011.

The Humbug Hurry-Up is back for another year on May 21, 2011 in (way) NorCal (Yreka, CA):

Classic mountain bike race returns to the State of Jefferson’s Greenhorn Park in Yreka. SINGLE TRACK! SINGLE TRACK!
