Jeff Kerkove has announced the opening of registration for the third annual Trans Iowa: "The Trans-Iowa Mountain Bike Race is a non-stop, self-supported, solo competition along the gravel roads of rural Iowa." This year's event will take place on April 28 - 29, 2007, starting and finishing in Decorah, Iowa [ MAP ]. Along the way, racers will cover about 300 miles.
