SCAR Cancels 3 MTB Endurance Events

Insurance woes have forced Sierra-Cascade Adventure Sports to cancel their three MTB endurance races this fall:

"Due to unforeseen issues with our insurance company, we unfortunately are required to cancel our MTB races this year. We worked hard to resolve event insurance permit problems, however we were not able to reach a resolution that would allow us to produce a high-quality event."

The cancelled races are:

• 9/06/08: The Sonoma Sol Six (Six Hour - Sonoma, CA)
• 10/04/08: The Sublime Six (Six Hour - Granite Bay, CA)
• 10/18/08: The Quick and The Dead (Six Hour - New Almaden, CA)

This is unfortunate, I was really hoping to race the New Almaden course.
