2006 Trans-Iowa

This is completely off-topic, as the race is across a state other than California, but our friends at The Biking Hub have a great series of articles covering the planning, execution and results of this year's Trans Iowa race. I am covering this for two reasons: (a) many years ago I lived in Omaha, which is across the river from Iowa, and (b) I would love to see something like this in California (maybe from Tahoe to San Francisco ?).
